Eagle Golf Team Information

REQUIREMENTS TO MAKE THE TEAM

  • Participate in any summer golf program, including group lessons, private lessons or play in any golf tournament or participate in some of the captains practices during the summer.
  • Attend the rule meeting (place and time TBD).
  • Complete all required paperwork (see Activity Forms page)

It is highly recommended that all players participate in as many tournaments as possible during the summer.

Lettering

A player that participates in two Varsity events will earn her Davies Golf Letter.

Qualifying for Events

The lowest 6 scores from the first 2 qualifying days will play Varsity at the Valley City Tournament and East-West. Coaches and Captains will decide the top 6 players at the next tournaments.

East Region & State Qualifying

The top 6 players will compete as the EDC team. Captains and coaches will review current scores, season-long averages and work ethic to select the team.

SPORTSMANSHIP & INTEGRITY

Honor, integrity and sportsmanship are not just the values of the game of golf but of Davies High School.

Any player that is repeatedly accused of reporting inaccurate scores, whether accidentally or intentionally, or is proven to purposely act in an unethical manner is subject to removal from the team or tournament play.
