Exam Registration Information

WorkKeys

WorkKeys is a series of multiple-choice tests developed by ACT to measure foundational, career-relevant skills like applied math, graphic literacy, and workplace documents. This assessment can be utilized to help students meet the criteria for North Dakota Choice Ready and the North Dakota Scholarship. 

To support students who are interested in using the WorkKeys option, Davies High School offers a computer-based version of the assessments several times during the school year. 

Students interested in taking this assessment must attend one of the following test dates:

  • Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM -- Register HERE by noon December 9, 2025. 
  • Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM -- Register HERE by noon February 10, 2026.
  • Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM -- Register HERE by noon April 7, 2026.

**Students must use their FPS email to register for the assessments. 

The cost for the  WorkKeys is $40.50 ($13.50/assessment). Payment can be made in the main office, or online in the student's School Pay account. Please enter "WorkKeys" in the comment section on School Pay.

ASVAB

The ASVAB will be administered at Davies on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM for 11th and 12th graders who missed the opportunity to test with their grade level or who want to retake it. If students want to take the ASVAB to help meet Choice Ready  requirements, they will need to score at least a 31 or greater. If students want to take the ASVAB to help them qualify for the North Dakota Scholarship, they will need to score at least a 50 or greater.  

  • To register for the ASVAB, students can complete this registration link  by noon on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
  • DHS students must use their FPS email address when registering

Students who took the ASVAB on 12.02.2025 can pick up their results on 01.08.2026 or 01.12.2026 in H101 from 12:00 – 4:00.

  • Interpretation sessions will be held each class period (5-8) for interested students on both days.

ACT

Some students ask if they should take the ACT. That is completely up to the individual and their family. If students are planning to take 4 years of a foreign language and wanting the Seal of Biliteracy, it is recommended that they take the ACT with writing test. The ACT is no longer given at Davies High School during the school year to all Juniors. The ACT is given on several national test dates (listed below) at various locations in Fargo. If students do choose to test on a national test date, all registration activities are done on the website at:

PSAT/NMSQT Registration Fall 2025

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is open to 10th and 11th graders and is a great tool for students considering college. The PSAT/NMSQT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills and writing skills. PSAT/NMSQT is an optional exam that provides feedback about strengths and weaknesses. Taking the exam will enter students into the competition for National Merit Scholar scholarships (11th graders). The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered at Davies on the morning of Wednesday, October 15th.  The cost to take the exam is $20.

For the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT, students at Ronald N Davies High School will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.

Online Exam registration will begin on Wednesday, August 27th  at 7:00 AM and end on Fri, Sep 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM. In order to register, students should click on the link provided on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/PSAT/350569 to register .To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end.

Ronald N Davies High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.

  • Fri, Sep 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM - Registration Ends
  • Mon, Sep 16, 2024 - Registrations that have not been paid for will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.
